Problem 12.10
For problem 12.10, do not use any formulas for costs that you might find in the textbook or for class notes. You can use such formulas as inspiration, if you like, but I want you to reason through yourself what the cost for these specific cases. Describe in words how you arrive at your answers. This problem is not about getting the right answer (though that's part of it); this problem is about describing your reasoning in calculating it.
