CS 395 Presentation Scheduling

Type your email address and a bid for your final project presentation date. Presentations will be scheduled by the sorted order of your bids, so that the highest bidder will present first and the lowest bidder will present last. But earlier presentations will be graded with more leniency. (This will in essence be a generalized second-price auction.)

Your presentation grade will be determined as follows:

I will artificially increase all leniency rates (without changing their relative order) if I think they are unfairly low.

I reserve the right to break ties in bidding arbitrarily.

You may not collude in your bidding.

For groups with two students, I will average your submitted bids and treat that number as your group's bid for the purposes of choosing time slots.

I reserve the right to adjust the order of presentations for external reasons (think of this as the hard-to-figure-out notion of "ad quality").
