Web Application, Phase 5: API implementation

For this phase, you'll implement the API you designed in phase 4.

What to do for Phase 5

• Create a Python program webapp/api.py. This program will contain a Flask app, and should use the same command-line argument processing as in my flask_sample.py (that is, you can specify the host and port at the command line).
• Tag your code webapp_phase5. (Unlike what I said the other day, this tag matters, because you'll likely at least tweak your API while the graders are busy grading.)
• Make sure your database is populated with your data on perlman.mathcs.carleton.edu.
• Put a file called dump.sql in webapp/ in your repository. To create dump.sql, login to perlman and run:
  pg_dump --no-owner --no-privileges yourdatabasename > dump.sql
  Recall that your database name is exactly the same as your perlman user name. (Here's some documentation for pg_dump, if you're interested.)
